I have an obit from my Grandmother's book; I don't believe we are related, but the families were long time friends.
Mrs. Frankenstein
The Rev. Joseph T. Edwards, First United Methodist Church, Ferndale, will conduct the funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Frankenstein at 1pm Saturday, at Spaulding and Curtin Funeral Home 500 West Nine-Mile, Ferndale. Interment will be in Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley.
Mrs. Frankenstein, age 74, died Wednesday at Fish Memorial Hospital, New Smyrna, Fla. formely of 223 Ardmore, Ferndale, she resided at Rural Route 1, Glencoe Road, New Smyrna.
Born Sept 7, 1897, in Cininatti, Ohio, she married Conrad on May 10, 1913 in Covington, KY. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Conrad L., 2449 Brockton, Royal Oak; Edward G., Fort Lee, Virginia; three daughters, Mrs. Gary (Betty) Yates, Hubbard Lake; Mrs. Robert (Joan) Durbin, Toledo, Ohio; three brothers, Jack Fillie, Cincinnati; Sam Fillie, Kentucky; Edward Fillie, St. Petersburg, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Georgina Sperckmyer, Cincinnati; 20 grandchildren; and one great-gradchild.
