I am searching for any info re: Arthur C. Frankenstein. so far have found out he was born around 1846 (?) in Russia or Prussia--
Census records show he listed immigration to U.S. as 1864. Worked for a short time at a steamboat place in Brownsville, Tx in the late 1860's. Found him married to Emily Longerfelt from Carthage, MO area and at least one child, Ellen Maria(?) born in Illinois abt 1878. Later found him back in MO married to Sarah Phina Pollan. In 1920 Census he was in Delaware Co.,OK still married to Sarah with one son, Arthur S.
Could Arthur be an Americanization of the name August? Any info appreciated.
