I am looking more information about Horace T. Atkinson and Carrie Van Pelt (Frankenfield). I am looking for her because I think that she is a half sister to my grandmother, Lydia Oma Frankenfield (b. Nov 15, 1885 Kirksville, Adair Co., MO). My aunt tells me that her father was George W Frankenfield (Bucks County, PA.)and he was married to Susan Jump (b. Abt 1848).
I am looking for a way to contact descendants of Carrie Van Pelt Frankenfield (husband Horace T. Atkinson), she was 16 when Lydia was born. She must have known about Lydia. Susan ( Lydia's mother) died in 1898, George at the time of Susan's death would have been 47. We don't know if he remarried again or when or where he died.
Carrie's mother died when she was 10. Did she go with her father when he went west? She died at Wrightstown. I think that is in PA.
Descendants of Carrie Van Pelt Frankenfield might be able to answer some of these questions.
