Hello,
My Aunt, Dora "Betty" Frankil died before I was born, she had no children with my Uncle, but perhaps her history will help others find their kin.
She was b. August 9, 1902 in Boston, MA to Samuel Frankil & Bessie Minski.
Samuel FRANKIL sp? was b. in Russia & was a "pedler" by trade per the certificate.
Bessie Minski was born in St. Paul, MN.
They lived at 44 Bille?cia St. Not sure of spelling.
Dora went by the name of "Betty" & married my Uncle, Vincent Allison Brown, in Long Beach, CA, on Dec. 26th, 1938.
She was in Pearl Harbor during the Dec. 8th attack, family story is, she hid under the kitchen table.
I have photos of her in Hawaii & CA. They lived in Long Beach & S.F., she died on May 7th, 1944, in Brookline, Mass, age 41 years from carcinoma. She is buried at Wilcomere Cem., Melrose, MA.
She was living at 19 Fowler St., Boston, Mass when she died.
Hoping this helps someone in their search for family in MA. And, I hope someone remembers my Aunt Betty (Frankil) Brown.
