I am the great grandson of Gottschall and Minna Frankel of Biblis, Germany 1830's to 1920. All of their children emigrated to the USA and then to Canada. We have information on all direct decendants if you are interested. However, my late father, Joseph Frankel, talked about my grandfather Herman Frankel's meetings with cousins in the states. They appeared to live in cities like Buffalo,Cleveland,Chicago around 1900. They may have been in the scrap metal business. My father met some decendants incl.one named Fred on a trip in 1934. He also referred to a cousin who lived in Johannesburg, SA. All of these would have left Germany before 1900. If anyone believes they are related, I would love to hear from you. This is purely interest. I live in Montreal.
