I have an original carte de visite photograph identified as “Alta Franke – age 7-1/2 months – May 6, 1891”, which I would like to get back to family members. Photo was taken in Williamson (Wayne Co.) NY, and Alta is a pretty dark haired baby, wearing what looks to be a christening gown.
I found Alta in the Williamson (Wayne Co.) NY census for 1900, as the oldest child of John H. and Carrie Franke, with her DOB as Oct 1890. Living next door was an 81 y/o Susanna Franke, possibly her grandmother.
