Franey, 191 0, Boston

Hi, my name is Joe Franey and I come from Derry in the North of Ireland. My family comes from Enniscorthy, Wexford, Ireland originally. I know that I had two great-uncles who went to the Boston area (I think) in and around 1910. Andrew stayed in America and his family live there yet. James married and had a family in America, but he sent them home to Ireland in the 1930s. There are possibly other Aunts and Uncles who went to America around that time.
I am the son of Richard Franey (from Enniscorthy) and he also is the son of a Richard Franey. My great-grandfather's name was Joseph. My father is one of about twenty children, they remained in Ireland or Britain. My father was also one of about twenty children, it is possible that many of them went to America. The names which seem to be common in my family are Richard, Joseph, Edward, James, Andrew, Patrick, Catherine, Elizabeth, to name but a few. I would like to hear from any Franeys who can trace their roots back to Wexford (possibly all Franeys can do this). My e-mail address is j_freaney@hotmail.com. Thanks.
