I am a Franco on my mother's side.
My grandfather was Jose Franco Cisco came to Ponce, Puerto Rico from Spain in the early 1900's. He married Rosalìa Rodriguez from Salinas. They both died very young and left seven children orphaned. The children's name are: Petra, Isabel, Ismael, Ana Maria, Carmen Pilar, Aida, Radames. Of the seven, only three are still living. My grandfather had children in Spain from a previous marriage. One was named Carmelo who died in Puerto Rico 28 years ago. He was married to a lady named Carmen and lived many years in Spanish Harlem, NY. My grandfather had several brothers among which were Julio, Felipe, Enrique?? Felipe came to Ponce at the same time as my grandfather. His sons, Jose, Enrique and several daughters which names I do not know. If you have any information which can associate other Francos in Puerto Rico to my family, please let me know.

Sincerely, Dolores Gavard (Carrion Franco)
