With a description starting "We want to confirm our genetic descent from Samuel (and Ann) Francis who had seven children in Baltimore County, MD in the 1780s." it doesn't sound like it is going to be concerned with other Francis families. If it is, the description should be changed to something generic like "The International Francis DNA Project".
I think you will find the current desription will put off most Francises from joining as they have nothing to do with Baltimore, etc., and it sounds very egocentric.
