A lot of people ponder whether different FRANCIS/FRANCESs are related or where their FRANCISs come from. Has anyone ever thought about setting up an international FRANCIS Surname DNA Project? In case you are unfamiliar with what Surname DNA projects are please see the following link for a quick description:-

Basically it would enable FRANCISs to prove their relationship to other FRANCISs. Unfortunately I can not take part as it needs male FRANCISs to be tested (the Y-DNA is only passed down the paternal line) and FRANCIS is not my paternal line.
However, if there are male FRANCISs out there perhaps you can take advantage of this science and shed more light on the FRANCIS surname.
