Hello - I have more information for the son of George LeClerc, Le Comte du Jardin/Buffon.

He was married two times. I do not know if he had children. His name was GEORGE LOUIS M. LECLERC DE BUFFON born in 1764;

He died 22 Messidor year II (10 July 1794) (Thursday) - VINCENNES 94 , age at death: 30 years old. There is a note: "décapité "par erreur" sous la révolution ....un Jeudi" - beheaded by mistake during the revolution on a Thursday!

1.) He married in 1784 to M Françoise Marguerite BOUVIER DE LAMOTTE DE CÉPOY 1767-1808 (Parents : Guillaume François BOUVIER DE LAMOTTE, Marquis DE CÉPOY ca 1740 & Elisabeth Amarante JOGUES DE MARTINVILLE ca 1745) , divorced 17 Nivose year I (6 January 1793) (Sunday);

2.) He married in 1792 to Elisabeth Georgette DAUBENTON 1775-1852 (Parents : Georges Louis DAUBENTON 1739-1785 & Anne M Madeleine Bernarde BOUCHERON 1746-1793).
