Searching for family trees and ancestors of any of the various derivations of the name. Thought to be Manns from France who then went to Germany and added the Würde to the front. The oldest reference to the name we have found is a coat of arms from a castle in Switzerland from the 1400s.
Have set up a family tree web site, wurdemann.org, on which I am trying to gather up pictures, history, and adding to our family tree through an online family tree program.
