At this site I found an ancestor of someone I am doing genealogy for http://www.servancnaute.fr/actes/
My question is for the Baptism record it shows Mother but no Father and on the persons marriage record it also shows Mother but no Father.
I am wondering if this is because the person was born out of wedlock. He seems to have his Mothers last name because I find records also of his Mother and her Brother.
Does any one have any knowledge of France Parish Records that could spread some insight on this.
