William de Cardon

Need some help, please,

I have traced my wife's family (Hadden) back to Sir William de Cardon 1045 and his wife, Lady Adelise Peverel (1069), bor in Normandy, France. Came to England and the Norfolk country around 1050 or so. Can any one help me, please?

Next question, please. Where would Cardon be? Doesn't the name indicate where the man was born at. Cardon, Normany, France?? Supposedly he built Haydon Hall in Norfolkshire or at least made it much larger than it was.

Thanks.
Earl
