France Clara, 33, b. Bavaria George, 13, b. IN John, 11, b. IN Anna, 7, b. IN Eliza, 1, b. IN (this is probably closer to the original spelling) http://castlegarden.org/ - I can see Clara possibly arriving in 1851 on the Monmouth with her family, but can't find Joseph here. He might have come under another spelling of the name or have come through another port. Exact birthplaces tend not to be listed in these early shipping records - do you have anything on Joseph's death? An obituary might mention something about where he was from or if any brothers/sisters had come with him to the US. Notify Administrator about this message?
