Dear Jim: I think I can help you, and maybe you can help me. I'm also supposed to be related to St. Therese of Lisieux. My ggggrandmother was born in Lisieux, she was Josephte/Josephine/Josette Martin. Here's the information that I was able to gather on St. Therese's family. Father: Louis Joseph Aloys Stanislas Martin b.August 22, 1823 in Bordeaux, France d. July 29, 1894 Lisieux married on August 13, 1858 in Alencon, France to Marie Azelie (Zelie) Guerin b. December 23, 1831 Gandelain, Orne, France d. August 28, 1877 Alencon, France. They had 9 children Marie Francoise Therese Martin b. January 2, 1873Alencon, Fr. d. September 30 1897 Lisieux,Fr.(St. Therese), Marie Helen Martin b. October 3, 1864 Alencon,Fr. d. February 22, 1870 Alencon, Fr., Marie Louise Martin b. February 22, 1860 Alencon d. January 19, 1940 Lisieux(Nun), Marie Celine Genevieve Martin b.April 28, 1969 Alencon d. February 25, 1959 Lisieux (nun), Marie Leonie Martin b. June 3, 1863 Alencon d. June 16, 1941 France, Marie Melanie Therese Martin b. August 16, 1870 Alencon d. October 8, 1870 Alencon re- buried October 4, 1897 Lisieux (must be a family monument near the convent), Marie Pauline Agnes Martin b. September 7, 1861 Alencon d. July 28 1951 Lisieux (nun), Marie Joseph Martin b. September 20, 1866 Alencon d. February 14 1867 Alencon, Marie Jean Baptiste Martin b. December 19, 1867 Alencon d. August 24, 1868 Alencon. Louis Martin's father was Pierre Francois Martin b. April 16, 1777 Athis de l'orne, France d/ June 26, 1865 Alencon Married Marie Anne Fanie Boureau on April 4, 1818 St. Martin d'Aimay she was b. January 12, 1800. They had 5 children Pierre b. July 29, 1819, Marie Anne b. September 18, 1820, Louis, Anne Francois Fanny b. March 10, 1826 & Anne Sophie 1833. Pierre Francois Martin's parents were Jean Martin b. December 22, 1752 his wife was Marie Ann Bohard b. January 14, 1753. Zelie Guerin's parents were Pierre Marin Guerin b. September 8, 1758 his wife was Marguerite Elisabeth DuPont, they had 1 child Isidore Guerin b. July 6, 1789 St. Martin d. September 3, 1868 he married Louise Jeanne Mace on September 5, 1828 she was born July 11, 1805 d. September 9, 1859, they had 3 children Marie Louise Guerin b. May 31, 1829 d. 1877 she was a Sister of the Visitation, Zelie and Isidore Marie Victor Guerin b. January 2, 1841. Hope this helps you.
