My grandfather was an Alsation and came to Australia in late 1880. Some details of his family is as follows but I would like to trace more. Some of this is not 'proven' so any assistance would be appreciated
First Generation
1. August Jules Luck, son of Jacques Luck and Eve Hunsicker, was born on 23 May 1867 in Alsace, France, died on 13 Aug 1958 in Salvation Army Aged Persons Home, Kelmscott, Western Australia at age 91, and was buried in Aug 1958 in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. August married Emma Bees, daughter of Edward George Bees and Margaret Guilfoyle, on 24 Nov 1894 in Footscray, Victoria, Australia.
Second Generation (Parents)
2.Jacques Luck, son of George Luck and Catherine Matter, was born on 9 Sep 1826 in Bouxwiller, Bas-Rhin, France.
• He worked as a Paver [French: "paveur" ] in Bouxwiller, Bas-Rhin, France.
• He had marriage banns published from 0018 to 25 Apr 1858 in Bouxwiller, Bas-Rhin, France. The witness to the marriage included Jean Matter, aged 50 years, Locksmith [French: "Serrurier"] of Bouxwiller, Bas-Rhin, France and 4 male friends of the groom.
Jacques married Eve Hunsicker on 4 May 1858 in Bouxwiller, Bas-Rhin, France.
Children from this marriage were:
i. George Luck was born in 1858 in Nancy, Alsace-Lorraine, France.
ii. Jacques Luck was born on 31 Oct 1858 in Bouxwiller, Bas-Rhin, France.
iii. Charles Luck was born circa 1860 in Nancy, Alsace-Lorraine, France.
iv. Michel Luck was born on 20 Feb 1860 in Bouxwiller, Bas-Rhin, France.
v. Charles Alfred Luck was born on 27 Feb 1864 in Faubourg Stanislas Ruell Dr La Rame, No 3. Nance, Alsace- Lorraine, France.

3. Eve Hunsicker, daughter of Daniel Hunsicker and Eve Clauss, was born on 3 Jun 1832 in Hoffen, Alsace Lorraine, France. Another name for Eve was Eve Huzinger. Birth Certificate: 1832. Shows her surname was written as 'Huzinger'. Her father clearly signed his name as ' Daniel Hunsinger' and in the French- style italics., while Michel Clauss and George Clauss who were the witnesses to the birth certificate signed their names in the old German script.Eve married Jacques Luck on 4 May 1858 in Bouxwiller, Bas-Rhin, France.

4. George Luck was born in 1798. He worked as an Agricultural Labourer [French: "journalalier"] in 1858 in Bouxwiller, Bas-Rhin, France. 5. Catherine Matter was born in 1802. Catherine married George Luck on 18 Jul 1824 in Bouxwiller, Bas-Rhin, France.
6. Daniel Hunsicker was born circa 1803 and died on 7 Oct 1854 at age 51. Daniel married Eve Clauss. Children from this marriage were:
i. Georges Hunsicker was born on 9 Dec 1829 in Hoffen, Alsace Lorraine, France and died before 1834.

iii. Georges Hunsicker was born on 18 Nov 1834 in Hoffen, Alsace Lorraine, France.

7. Eve Clauss, daughter of Michel Clauss and Unknown, was born in 1805.
Eve married Daniel Hunsicker.
Fourth Generation (Great-Grandparents)
14. Michel Clauss was born circa 1782. He worked as a Farmer in 1932 in Hoffen, Alsace Lorraine, France. Michel married someone. His children were:
