KALTERBRUNNEN families in Alsace

I would be very interested to communicate with a member of the KALTERBRUNNEN FAMILIES of Alsace or Germany or Austria..
I have an ancestor named Jean-Baptiste Colpron , Born 1737
who came to Canada around 1775 with his wife Marguerite Aut Born 1741 and their young son George.
When they arrived his name was probably KALTERBRUNNEN
because he spoke only German language and his name was written by the sound and became COLPRON.
I am searching for more than 30 years the origin of my ancestors who said they were Alsacians.
Any information will be greatly appreciated!
And thanks.
