John Frame/ Grizel Lindsay are my gt gt gt grandparents. Their son John's daughter, Christina, married Andrew Pinkerton in 1845. Both families were weavers, but I know very little about the eldest John Frame except that the marriage entry in the PR shows that the marriage was irregular (the reason being fairly obvious) and that the family lived in Calton and then Bridgeton (from the addresses given on baptism entries. I have not traced families for the children of John and Grizel apart from John, nor have I managed to find sure parents for John. Grizel's parents were William Lindsay/Jean Buchanan but again I have not researched their other children's families. Please contact me if you have an interest in succeeding generations.
