David D. Frame, Jr. was my G.G.G.Grandfather he was born on Dec. 17, 1781 in Augusta Co.,Va. (Bath) and died Nov. 19, 1861 in Braxton Co.,Va. He married Sarah Harris on Dec. 20, 1810 in Albermarle County, Va. This following information is was I have obtained from my Grandfather's genealogy: The children of David & Sarah were as follows: 1. Milton Frame 2. Nancy Frame 3. Elmore Frame (who was my G.G.Grandfather) 4. Cynthia Frame 5. Amanda Frame 6. Wesley Frame 7. Harriet Frame. My Grandfather's records showed there were 8 children and not 7 as listed in the familytree makers genealogy. Elmore Frame, my G.G.Grandfather was born March 13, 1819 and died April 17, 1896. He married Marcella Frances A. Ray on Dec. 10, 1846. Marcella had recently come from Eastern Virginia. She was the daughter of William and Marcella Y. (Tinsley) Ray and was born in Alleghaney County Va. on May 4, 1829. From the records I have Elmore was the one who settled Frametown. Elmore and Marcella (Ray) Frame had 7 children one of whom was my Great Grandfather David Frame who was born on July 12, 1865. He married in Harrison County W.Va., Melissa Mowrey, the daughter of William Mowrey. I do not have the information on the other 6 children of Elmore and Marcella (Ray) Frame and would appreciate any help in getting this. From the union of my Great Grandfather David and Melissa were 7 children: 1. Harry Frame 2. David Frame born Feb. 26, 1904 died Feb. 1976. 3. Eddith Frame 4. Flora Frame 5. Ella Frame, who had 2 children Clara Mae Crouch and Harry Crouch. 6. Ruby Frame 7. Ray Ira Mowrey Frame who was my Grandfather. Ray Frame was born in Braxton County, W.Va. on a farm Sept. 24, 1899 and died July 15, 1967 (3 days after my 8th birthday). He graduated from Sutton High School in W.Va. He received his B.S. and M.D.degree from Jefferson College. He was an intern and resident at Grant Hospital. He moved to Sharples W.Va. where he married my Grandmother Guy Virginia Bratton. Guy Bratton was born on August 16, 1900 in Marlington, W.Va. and died April 15, 1949 in Charleston. She was the daughter of William A Bratton born 12/24/1869 in Rockbridge Co. Va. he died 6/10/1928 in Marlington W.Va. His wife was Fannie Berry Cologne born 10/10/1874 in Farquier Co. Va. died 5/16/1952 in Marlington W.Va. They were married on 6/10/1896. Ray and Guy (Bratton) Frame had 2 children: 1. William Ray Frame born November 14, 1928 in Baltimore City, MD and died December 2, 1989 in Port Orange, Fla. 2.Fanny Gray (Buxton) Frame. William Frame was my Father. William Frame was married the first time to Delma Shields in Monroe County, Indiana on Nov. 16, 1947. The family tree maker has them listed as having a son by the name of William Ray Frame, Jr. To my knowledge this information is incorrect, unless of course I have a brother I am unaware of or who possibly may have died. To my knowledge my only brother is Guerdon Ray Frame born July 15, 1953. Garry Frame has 4 children 1. Matthew Ray Frame 2. Robin Michelle Frame 3. Wendy Elizabeth Frame 4. Kevin Frame. William Frame had a second wife Josephine Hayes Frame from Bloomington, Indiana. Supposedly they were married in Baltime Md. on June 10th but I do not know what year, they had one child which is myself: 1. Robin Lee (Benken)Frame born July 12, 1958 in Baltimore City, Md. I would appreciate any help in completing my lineage line.
