My grandmother's grandmother was Mary Frame. She married Thomas Hickman who was born in Chester County, Pa during the Revolution. He moved to Ohio in the 1790's to Knox County where they had a farm together. We have never been able to find any information about Mary Frame, where she was from but I have in storage a painting of her from the 1850's. I suspect that since Thomas Hickman made several trips from the Brandywine Valley to Ohio he may have married in Pennsylvania and brought his bride to Ohio.
