James Frame's parents were Alexander Frame and Janet Wilson ( yes another Janet Wilson) I have been working with some Frame cousins in Canada and we believe that George Frame got his name from his mother's family - as we believe her parents names were George Wilson and Jean Brown. In following traditional naming patterns - James Frame and Janet Wilson named their children like this:
Alexander - first born son after father's father
George - second born son after mother's father
Jane - interchangable with Jean after Mother's mother
Janet - after father's mother
Marion or Mary
Margaret Wilson - uses mother's maiden name.
Maybe your George got his name from his mother's family too.
We are currently trying to figure out how the name Lilias got into the family tree as we have 5 generations with the name Lilias in it - including my mother in law.
