Hello Sandra
I noticed the name MacIsaac amongst the matches to the Frames in my Frame DNA Project. I have only one notion that might explain them so passing on in case of interest:
In amongst all of the Fram/Frames recorded in the Scottish OPRs,one entry stands out because it is different to the usual ones I come across: It is for a John Fram bapt. 5 March 1785 at Inverness. He was the son of Isack Fram and Martha Fraser - so perhaps this John Fram might be considered a 'Mac Isack'?There are no other birth/bapts relating to Isack Fram (a soldier in the 22nd Reg.), but I thought I would pass this info on to you in case it helps.I can send you a copy of the doc. if you wish.
Kind regards
