Hi Jennifer,
You are welcome for the Astor Story.
I also like reading stories about our family,
they make them more real in my imagination.
Regarding the book, maybe Penny could do the
Family Lines (she is a wonderful researcher)
and we the decendants of Isaac and Catherine
Shoemaker Fraley could write the stories we
have all been told about our Family Branches
from Isaac and Catherine.
We could also get our Fraley Kin still in Eastern KY to add new information to the book.
Penny's lines could be added to the back of
the book so people reading could trace the
present Fraley desendants back to Isaac and
Catherine.
How does this sound to you?
I know I have old family pictures of my Fraley ancestors I would love to share in the
book, but since they are very old I would
not want to copy them too much, nor send the
original photographs to someone else.
They are very dear to my heart.
I think a compromise is called for.
Penny likes posting lines.
I find that part of family research tiresome
sometimes.
I love reading the legends about our family and sharing those with others.
Do you feel this way also?
Your Fraley Kin,
Ramona
