My ancestor is Mary Ann Fraley, b.May 1820. She was married to Arthur Hobbs. They lived in Wayne Co, WV.
In her marriage license, which was issued on Feb.12,1839 in Floyd Co., KY, her father is listed as James Fraley.
I need help finding more information about James--date of birth/death; parents; wife.
In the 1840 Floyd Co KY census, there is a James Friley household and a Stephen Friley household. Does anyone know who their parents are?
Stephen Friley(Fraley) married Sarah Hobbs, and moved to Wayne Co.,WV. I have speculation but no proof that Sarah was Arthur's sister and Stephen was Mary's brother. Any clues towards proof would be appreciated.
I'd like to hear from anyone who has any information about the Fraley family that lived in KY during this time.
