The James Fraley who married Missouri Ison was a son of Adam Collard Fraley and Elizabeth Gollihue Fraley of Elliott County.Adam Collard Fraley was the son of James Elihu Fraley, for whom the Fraley Chapel at Newcombe in Elliott County was named.James Elihu was the son of Isaac Fraley and Catherine Shoemaker Fraley.
According to the Elliott County History Book, James and Missouri had seven sons and two daughters and they raised their familyon Middle Fork in Elliott County.Charley Fraley (b. 1892) was their oldest child.
Hope this helps.I am also a descendant of Adam Collard and Elizabeth Gollihue Fraley, through their son Cecil (my grandfather).Check out my Fraley webpage athttp://users.ezwv.com/~brenda51/fraley/http://users.ezwv.com/~brenda51/fraley/.
