Gosh, it's almost a year since your posting in this FRAKER Family Genealogy Forum; and I hope I reach you here and/or at your aol.com email address.

Very recently I receive an obituary, forwarded to me by a dear woman who is one of a few elder custodians of records at the Depot Museum in Downing, Missouri. Inez Shaw had the obituary of your paternal great-grandfather, Elbridge F. Fraker, a member of the Schuyler County Court.

I had learned that there were FRAKER visitors to the museum but I only just approached Inez during a recent visit to my folks in Downing to inquire if she might have the "researcher's" name. She forwarded the abovementioned data and I just decided to check genealogy.com; and there was your post.

"El" Fraker's wife Susan Adaline "Ad" COOK was a younger sister of my maternal great-great-grandfather, John COOK! You and I are separated by only one generation. You're a third cousin to Mother and thus a third cousin once removed to me; and I hope we will come to share quite a bit of information.

I can provide a bit of information about John and Ad's father, our immigrant ancestor, Charles Cook, from England; and I hope you will fill me in on E. F. and Ad's descendants.

May we correspond?
