Great Work--it sure looks like I was completly wrong and you have found Poley,s father. I see you are still at working on the Frady family? It is good to hear from you again.
Mybest guess is poley father isGilbert W. son of Susan daughter of Andrew J. Frady. I understand from Gilbert W. brother family ( George Washington who went to Ark.) was knownas Wess. It sure looks like the Wess stood for Winfield and notm Wesley. Poley,s other name could be Colubus or James according to the 1900 census.
Susan left Tenn. before 1860 and she is found in 1870 Jackson County Al living with a James Ross family as follows:
Susan age 37 b. NC,
Close by are her children living Ider Al. , Dekalb County Al. and listed as:
G. W. Frady age 9 b. Tenn.
George age 7. b. Tenn.
The 1880 Polk County Tenn census list the following.
Susan Frady age 45 b. Tenn.
Winfield age 19 b. Tenn.
George age 17 b. Tenn.
1900 Polk County Tenn.
Gilbert W. age 42 b. Tenn.
Christy P. age 41 b. Tenn.
James n? age 13 b. Tenn
Columbus age 10 b. Tenn.
1910 Monroe County Tenn.
Gilbert W. age 53 b. Ga.
Mary 18b. NC.
AJohnnie Rider is list as S/L
Gilbert is the only other Frady I have listed as living in Manroe County Tenn during the 1910 census.
A John W. Frady son of James with his mother Mahala moves into Monrore County Tenn by 1820. whereWindfield and Nopeleon Frady are living.
1830 Monroe County alson list a Howard Fradyage 21 and Lona age 20.
