Hello Marsha. I don't have any information for you on George Fozard. However, my father is Stanley Fozard and he came to the U.S. when he was about 12 years old. I believe he entered the country through Boston. His parents were Fergus and Minnie Fozard. They were from Leeds, Yorkshire, England and they were miners also. My uncle Norman used to tell me stories about the mines in England. The mining connection is what struck me with your posting and made me wonder if possibly George and James might be descendants of mine also. I remember hearing something about one of my father's brothers - Harold - remaining in England with his uncle Mark because he was epileptic and prohibited from immigrating. My father's brothers names were Norman, Cecil, and Reginald. His sister was Elsie. If you have any information that might link me to your Fozard line, please email me at kawalt@uswest.net.
