I, too, am looking for more information on Ann Sofiah Foil. I know she married Jacob Fulmer in 1848 in Union County, Arkansas. She died before 1864, because Jacob married second a Sarah Jane Cate. By 1880, he was married to an Eliza J. LNU.
Jacob and Ann Fulmer were my gr-gr-great grandparents.
I have been unable to find any information on any Foil (Foyil) family that was in the area at the time that Jacob and Ann married.
In 1860, the Alford Foil must be a brother or cousin to her. He later marries in that county, but I have not been able to find him before that.
I have searched through Georgia, and cannot find a match either.
