Alexander Sober (1807-1869) and Mary (Polly) Foy (1807-1895) were the parents of the following children.

Samuel (1831-1892) M. Sarah Bloom
Beulah (1832-1904) M. Adam Krighbaum
Uriah (1834-1911) M. Maggie (last name unk)
Morris Smith (1835-1911) M. Isabelle Beaston
Aaron (1837-1918) M. Anna Murray
Isaac John (1838-1915) M. Abigail Furman
William A.(1840-1897) M. Emma Boas
Salathial (1842-1862) died Civil War "Battle of Fair Oaks"
Alexander Jordan (1844-1876) M. Sarah Jane Gearhart
Mary Ann (1845-1915) M. Frank Hummel--line I follow
Susannah (1847-unknown) M. Jared Neidig
Joseph (1853-1913) M. Mary M. Wolverton

Yes, it was a very large family and there are many descendants. They were all born in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, probably Shamokin Township. Mary Foy was blinded by whitewash about 1870. Son, Alexander Jordan was a prisoner in the infamous Andersonville Prison during the Civil War.

Hope this helps you.

Mary
