A SUDDEN DEATH
OBITUARY
John Foye died very suddenly, last Thursday afternoon, at his home in the town of Hyde Park just beyond Morristown Plains.Mr. Foye has been in poor health for some time having been _____ from that reason to give up his work at the Mould & Davis stone shed last November.On the day of his death, he had been working in the hay field and the ______ heat probably hastenend his death which was pronounced due to heart failure.He had been unloading hay and, _______ _______, lay down on the ground.Mrs. Foye, who was working with him, went in the house to prepare supper, telling him to come in about 15 minutes.As he did not appear at that time, she went to him and found him unable to speak and he soon after passed away.
Funeral services were attended at St. Teresa's Church in Hyde Park, Vermont, Saturday at 1_ _M.
Interment was in the Catholic Cemetery in that place.The local branch of the National Granite Cutters' Union, of which he was a _______, attended the service in a body.Deceased was _2 years old the day of his death.He is survived by a widow, formerly Miss Julia Rock of this town, and four small children."
