FOY/FAHEY - Co. GALWAY

I have struck a brick wall researching my Irish FOY gggrandparents and any direction or help would be appreciated.
JOHN FOY and MARGARET KANE were both born at Tuam Co. Galway in the 1818 to 1824 period. I have not located their birth or marriage certificates, but "April 11, 1847 in Ireland" is listed as their marriage date on son John's NSW baptism certificates. Son PATRICK FOY was born at Cripplegate London March 17, 1852 then the family immigrated from Southampton to Sydney Australia on the Herefordshire, arriving December 10, 1853. They had 2 more sons in Sydney, John b.March 31, 1855 and Michael b. December 27, 1857. After John Foy spent several years cedar cutting on the Richmond River area of NSW, the family settled at Casino NSW in the late 1860's. The FOY surname was then changed to FAHEY during the late 1870's. There was also a MARTIN FAHEY who immigrated on the same ship and was likely a relation, as 16months later the same Martin Foy was a Baptism sponsor to John Foy Jnr in Sydney. No further record of Martin Foy has been located in Australia, so it is assumed he returned to Ireland, or moved on to NZ or North America. John Foy Fahey)died at Casino NSW October 27, 1893 and his Margaret Kane died at Casino October 25, 1905. John & Margaret arrived in Australia illiterate and pennyless, but left a hotel, houses & property at Casino for their children.
