Dear Lorna,
I was very excited to receive your posting about my father Glen Mark Foxwell.I am anxious to share more information with you, and learn just how we are related.
You can correspond directly to me at either of these email addresses: [email protected] (work, I run my own business) or [email protected] (home).
Ever since I posted this forum item over 6 months ago, I have discovered literally scores of relatives and sources that I didn't know existed.I now have a well-developed database (using Family Tree Maker software) that has a very complete history of my branch of the Foxwells all the way back to the 1600s in Cornwall, England, down through William Foxwell and (his third wife) Ann Harris and their nine children, (eight of which came to the United States between 1840 and 1842), down through John Foxwell and Lucy Briggs and their 12 children, which includes my great grandfather, Mark Foxwell (1855-1936) and his wife, Margaret Hay, and their 6 children, the oldest of which was my grandfather, John Hay (not "Hayes", as I originally mistakenly identified him) and his wife Hettie Belle Burdick, who were the parents of my father, Glen Mark Foxwell.
I now have a copy of "The Foxwell Centennial Souvenir Booklet 1841 - 1941", as well as over 150 other sources that I dug up.I plan to publish a book soon that has over 500 names in it.
Lorna, I would be glad to compare information, give you copies of anything I have, and incorporate any information you care to give me.I hope to hear from you again soon.
