Seeking info for Erastus Fox, b. <1827> in NY and lived in Chautauqua, New York . Was he a "junior" son, with father of the same name?

Am very interested in finding another Erastus Fox who was of only one earlier generation, and lived in the identical geographic area - which leads speculation that this was the same family. Erastus, b. <1827>, did have offspring.

I am most most willing to exchange data if anybody has any info re these men - or their families, offspring.
