I found a Mahaly J. Fox married to a William Fox on the 1850 White County, TN census. Mahala is listed as 20 years old, William Fox is listed as age 36.

I also have a White County, TN marriage record of 29 Jun 1850 for a Mahaly J Kerby and William Fox.

I also have a Will for a Mahala J. Fox dated 1891. She left her property to her nephew, Richard N. Kirby and Richard's son, Laban Marshall Kirby.
