Hi Erica, I can't believe there are 2 Fowles families in the same area that are not related back in the 1860s but I think at this stage there must've been. I can't find your Henry G. Fowles in the marriages in NSW BDMs. Mine is I am pretty sure married to Margaret HYNES, his brother Edwin married her sister. My Henry G. parents were Job and Honor Fowles and my family came from Gloucestershire. If you ca make a connection please let me know but can't see it at present.
