Asa Fowler b.1834 where heended up in 1850 ?

Any thoughts on the following? Sure would appreciate any feedback.

This could be Asa, the son of Joshua and Sarah (Coburn)Fowler. The mother Sarah died in 1840 and it looks like Joshua died around 1843 or so.
The residence listed in the 1850 census is that of a poor house run by Thomas and Rebecca Pearson. Hamilton, Nottingham and Trenton are in close proximity to each other.
Asa's (1834) son is named Joshua Pearson b. 1860 Lancaster County, PA
