I'm trying to get a family history together. My family has done a poor job of keeping records so I have very little to go on. Here's all that I have so far..
My father is Ricky Paul Fowler (born Jan 1963). He has 2 brothers, Douglas and Michael Fowler. My grandfather's name is Paul Fowler (April 1938 - Oct 2006). He had 4 brothers; Kenneth, Jerry, Bobby (may be short for Robert, I can't remember), and Fred. All are now deceased. My great grandfather's name is Elbert "Red" Fowler (March 1913 - Aug 1970). I believe he had 2 brothers; Bruce? and Ernest (one born in 1907 and the other in 1910).
There is where I'm stuck. I don't know the name of my great-great grandfather. I know my great-great grandmother's name is Dollie, may be spelled Dolly. I don't know her maiden name but I think she was born around 1865.
All the Fowlers that I'm related to come from either NC or SC, as far as I know. My great grandfather Elbert was born in Tabor City, NC. I have also heard they moved to Horry County, SC (specifically the Floyds/Green Sea area).
As you can see, I don't have much to go on. I've tried searching and I keep coming up with the same thing over and over. If anyone can help in any way, I'd greatly appreciate it!
