I don't have much more on Enoch's orgin. The Castle Garden records show he arrived November 20, 1848 in New York on the vessel "Patrick Henry". His age is shown as 50 but this is probably in error. Enoch's wife Eliza and two children arrived on the same date with two children - John, age 2 and Eliza, age 5 and no other passengers were named Fowler.
Enoch next shows up in the 1850 census for Allegheny County Pennsylvania, listed as age 27, occupation potter. Wife Eliza and son John were also in the household but daughter Eliza was not.
By 1860, he was in Borough Township of Beaver County with his wife and children. Wife Eliza probably died before 1870 since she was not listed in the 1870 listing.
His children, in addition to John and Eliza, were Thomas Jefferson (born about 1851); Mary, (born about 1853); Ida (about 1856); Stewart (about 1857); Luella (about 1862); Scott (about 1865); and, Maud E. (born abt 1866).
Enoch died in September 1882 in Beaver County. He left his estate to children Thomas, Stewart, Scott, Mary and Ida. In addition, he mentions son John and a Sarah, leaving them $1 as their full settlement of the estate. I believe Sarah is most likely John's wife.
