You can go on line at Stephen Fooks web page and he has all the information on this family..truly amazing. There is also a book "The Fooks Family" by Herbert C. Fooks that tells you just about everything you want to know on the Fooks/Fowke family. This family descends from Fulk, the 1st Count of Anjour, in France, in A. D. 874. The family shares cousinship with Julia Boggs Dent, President Grant's wife, Conrad Hilton, George Mason, Jr.and The orginal Pantagenets
Mr. Gerard Fowke is a descendant of the immigrant Gerard Fowke Who was a first cousin of James Fowke who settled in Virginia about 1660. I would have to send you the ancestry of these men or you can find it on line at Stephen Fooks site. Their ancestry includes the Kings of Scandinavia. Their ancestors were also Knights and King Banneret's..their roots lead to Charlemagne.
