My grandfather was Joseph Michel Fournier. I am actually his namesake. I have records that he was born in Champlain, NY which is in Clinton County. He was born 9-19-1906 and died 10-8-1969. His Father was John (Jean) Baptiste Fournier and his mother Elizabeth or Mary Bechard (possibly a first and middle name?) His birth certificate says his father was 26 when he was born, which would make him born around 1880. His mother would be born around 1882. He was baptized at St. Mary's Church in Champlain,NY on September 21st, 1906. His sponsors were J.B. Bechard and a Olivia Cayea.
