Thanks for your reply concerning Willis Foulk of Washington Co., PN. The reason I am researching this is my ancestor William Costley served in 'Foulk's Company of the 8th Regt. U.S. Infantry'. Will appreciate you asking
your friend if this might be the same company/regiment. Would also appreciate knowing if the friend has a list of men that served in this. My William did not draw a pension and so far have been unable to determine what state he served from. He received a military warrant for 160 acres of land in IL, as did many others, and would be pleased to check same for your friend. Thanks, A. J.
