I have Just discovered that one of my GGGrandmothers was Sarah Foulkes, born at Meliden, next to St Asaph, Flintshire, North Wales. Her birth dates conflicts on various census. It could be either 1833, 1836, or 1837. She married my GGGrandfather Edward Edwards abt 1854. Total number of children are unknown at this stage but they include
Sarah A. Edwards b 1856
Elizabeth " b 1858
John " b 1860
William Foulkes Edwards b 1863
Caroline Edwards b 1870
Mary Ellen " b 1874

Between 1874 and 1880 Edward Edwards died and Sarah remarried Thomas Amos, widower in 1880. They lived at Holywell.

Sarah's father was called William Foulkes who was a lead dresser.

Sarah died in 1902 aged 69 and may be buried at Halkyn, Flintshire.

Hopefully this will connect to someones genealogy.
