Leandre Fougere b. ca 1909 and Emelie Arsenault b. ca 1914 were married ca. 1943 and raised their children in Grande Digue NB which is just outside of the Shediac Bridge area. One child of their marriage is my father Maurice Fougere. My family is said to have originated on Shediac Island. I believe that Leandre's father was Frank Fougere. Anxious to learn more about my family. Genealogy is a new undertaking for me.
