V. Suzanne - Which individual are you referring to? André Serre dit St-Jean, who married Marie-Anne Boilard in Québec on 3 May 1706 or André Sire, who married Élisabeth Charbonneau or another entirely? I don't show that either one of them was from Joinville. I do show that Jeanne Serre, mother of Marguerite Hyardin who was married to Nicolas Vérieul, was married to René Hyardin in Joinville, but Marguerite was born in Paris, so I'm not sure if her origins are Joinville or not (nor do I know any more of Jeanne's ancestry).
