Searching for any info on Sarah V. Fouche, orphan, married at 14, had 12 kids, and died of old age before she was 50. Sarah had been raised by a James or Jones family in the Hot Springs area, this man signed her marriage license... "Having neither Mother nor Father, I give my permission..." Sarah was b. c. 1870s, supposed to be half French and half Indian. The only thing Sarah had from her father was a bible written in French, which Sam supposedly used as toilet paper. She inherited some land in the Hot Springs area, but Sam wouldn't let her claim it, telling her that they never cared about her before, they were not starting now. He called her Molly. Sarah had been so ill for such a long time, that her feather pillow formed a halo above her head.
Is Sarah in your family? Did she have brothers and sisters? Who were her parents? Two of her granddaughters have been searching for her for 40 years. I am her ggd, and I have been looking for her for 20 years. Any ideas?
