If you read earlier posts by me, I ran across a Fouche Newsletter online that mentioned a Thomas Fouche purchasing a lovely 18th Century home called Holyfield in Loudoun County,Va. I e-mailed a few descendants and they gave me information on a Historian at The Thomas Balche Library in Leesburg,VA. I called the library and Phyllis Ford helped me and looked up the information I told her about Thomas Fouche purchasing Holyfield property, and she called me back with all the info and it's approximate location. I then found it's exact location and was able to contact the family who presently leases out the Hollyfield Farm 18th century home that was also formerly Thomas Fouche's home and they along with a current owner's wife invited me up for a visit. They have sent me areal pictures and I am going to go and videotape my visit there including the interior and exterior 18th Century home of yours and my ancestor's along with the surrounding property that is now approximatelly 175 acres and could be purchased back if someone had $8 million dollars. The only Holyfield I can think of who could purchase the property back is my cousin Evander, but I don't think he'd be interested in it,lol. So if afterwards any of the Fouche descendants would want copies of pictures and video of my visit to the old Holyfield/Fouche homestead, let me know. My e-mail address is light_n_me @bellsouth.net and I will copy what I have and send it to you. It's the least I can do for the Fouche's who gave me the information that led to my ancestor's homestead from 275 years ago. May God bless each of you!
