When I was there several years ago, the gravesite was situated behind an abandoned house, which was (as I understood it) the last home of Amos and Ellen Stevens Fouche. They were parents of George W. Fouche. Is the house still there? I was told that as the house changed hands the new owners were to take care of the gravesite. Amos died in 1859.
