I am researching my grandmother, who lived much of her life in Saline County, Illinois. She had stated she was an orphan from Birmingham, Alabama. Her name was Lida Lillian Terry. I found a Lydia Terry of the right age living with a family named Foster in Saline County, Illinois in 1920. This family is noted to all be from Alabama and Lydia is noted to be their niece. The family names are: Mack C. Foster, his wife Lena, sons Carl, Belton, and Hilman, and daughter Mildred. Does anyone know anything about this family, or how Lydia Terry was related to them? Any help is appreciated.
